At 8:05 p.m., troopers responded to Route 287 north in Morristown Township, Troy McNair, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, said.

The driver of the truck lost control and overturned, causing logs to fall off his trailer into the southbound lanes, McNair said.

Multiple car crashes occurred as a result and lanes were blocked on the northbound and southbound side, McNair said. Minor injuries were reported, McNair said.

The crash remains under investigation, McNair said.
